The CDA Straight Rig Platform is a modular rigging system designed to give anglers a clean, adaptable way to rig larger soft-plastic swimbaits, curly-tail grubs, and other compatible large soft plastics, while allowing the weight of the presentation to be changed without rebuilding the entire rig.

At the center of the system is a straight screw-lock connection that secures the soft plastic at the nose. The rigging platform extends beneath the bait and provides the attachment point for the hook, while interchangeable weights allow you to adjust the presentation for different depths, retrieve speeds, currents, and fishing conditions.

Built Around the Bait

Instead of treating the bait, rigging, and weight as separate pieces, the Straight Rig Platform brings them together into an adaptable fishing system.

Change the weight as conditions change while keeping the same bait and primary rigging platform in place.

The Straight Rig Platform can be used with compatible large swimbaits and curly-tail grubs, giving anglers the flexibility to use the same rigging concept across multiple soft-plastic presentations and CDA fishing systems.

Small Straight Rig Platform

The Small Straight Rig Platform is the first size available from Coeur d’Alene Custom Tackle and pairs directly with the 7.25” CDA Interceptor Swimbait. It can also be used with other compatible larger soft-plastic swimbaits and curly-tail grubs.

Each Small Straight Rig Platform includes:

• 1 assembled CDA Straight Rig Platform
• Straight screw-lock bait connection
• Hook/attachment rigging system
• 5g interchangeable weight — approximately 3/16 oz
• 7g interchangeable weight — approximately 1/4 oz
• 10g interchangeable weight — approximately 3/8 oz

The interchangeable weights allow you to adjust the same rig for shallower presentations, deeper water, changing current, or different retrieve speeds.

Pair It With the Interceptor

Pair the Small Straight Rig Platform with the 7.25” CDA Interceptor Swimbait for an integrated large-swimbait presentation.

When ordering an Interceptor for use with the Straight Rig Platform, select the No Hook Slot configuration. Interceptors produced with a hook slot are intended for anglers using a compatible large swimbait-style hook instead.
